The area is to be used for port purposes involving dock and pier facilities, terminal functions and similar port facilities. The offshore area may be used for anchoring and mooring

The area covers an area of some 1 ha

New buildings are to have a maximum height of two storeys

The area is fully developed without any available space, however, more available space may be generated by filling the Sissakkoriaq coastal area

Road access to the area is to be from Sissakkooriaq

B-1180 is preservation-worthy. This building can only be demolished or its appearance changed following prior permission by the municipal council. Any extension or conversion of the building is to consider the C1 heritage area

Regulated zones exist around the airport in the shape of obstacle limitation surfaces that consist of partly a horizontal surface and a conical surface, partly approach and take-off surfaces in continuation of the runway. The area is located under the airport’s obstacle limitation surface, and is covered by the horizontal surface, where buildings and other facilities cannot be established higher than level 61.0 metres and roads no higher than level 56.0 metres.
