Areas for industry and ports

The area is to be used for port purposes involving dock and pier facilities, terminal functions and similar port facilities. The offshore area may be used for anchoring and mooring

The area covers an area of some 2 ha

New buildings are to have a maximum height of 3 storeys.

The area is fully developed without any available space. By demolishing the old fish factory, new buildings may be established on the area

Road access to the area is to be from Niels Egedes Vej

No special provisions

Regulated zones exist around the airport in the shape of obstacle limitation surfaces that consist of partly a horizontal surface and a conical surface, partly approach and take-off surfaces in continuation of the runway. The area is located under the airport’s obstacle limitation surface, and is covered by the horizontal surface, where buildings and other facilities cannot be established higher than level 61.0 metres and roads no higher than level 56.0 metres.

Building design is to consider the fact that the area borders on the preservation-worthy colonial development in area C1. The port’s delimitation from the town centre in area C1 is also to be determined in due consideration of the overall town scenery. To the extent necessary to ensure port operations, the port area may be fenced-off temporarily.
